Budgeting features allow you to create budgets based upon last year’s budget, last year’s actuals, a new value, or last year’s budget plus a percentage increase or account.
Cash flow projection can be used to predict and manage the future cash flows of your company. The feature references existing inputs from Made2Manage accounts to create cash flow forecasts. User-defined inputs and assumptions are incorporated so you can configure cash flow calculations that best reflect your company’s operating characteristics.
As you build your inputs and assumptions, you can navigate to accounts receivable invoices, accounts payable invoices, sales orders, purchase orders and the general ledger chart of accounts for information. Drill-down features let you double-click to view source documents and calculations and set up data for each cash flow line item. You can save multiple forecasts, giving you the ability to compare cash flows from past and future accounting periods, as well as perform what-if analysis.
